MP3 Practice

These following mp3s are here for the individual use in the practice of  many different musical ideas and themes, in the setting of one to four chord 2.5 min mp3s. Many of the mp3s have a description of something to try and achieve over the track following the link. The cords used will always be the title to the mp3 link.

1. C major Use this track to practice use of triads (both C triad and any triad that harmonizes with C Ionian), you could also practice any of the major modes over this simple track.

2. F major Use this track to practice use of triads (both F triad and any triad that harmonizes with F Ionian or lydian in the key of C), you could also practice any of the major modes rooted in F over this simple track.

3. G major Use this track to practice use of triads (both G triad and any triad that harmonizes with G Ionian or Mixolydian in the key of C), you could also practice any of the major modes rooted in G over this simple track.

4. Dm Cmaj Em This riff steps it up a little bit. One measure of each chord except Em, there is 2 measures of that. You can practice along like above but across 3 chords instead of 1. It is in the key of Cmaj so all those rules apply. practice triads or harmonization or working on your pentatonic solos.

5. Em Fmaj Em Gmaj This one is done in power chords and some distortion. work on using 3rds along with this or broken power chords on octaves of the original riff. have fun be creative.

6. Am Dm arpeggiated barre chords This one is self explanatory. Take what ya know and see what you can do. There is 2 measures of each chord.

7. Gmaj Cmaj Am 1 measure of G and C and 2 of Am

8. Blues in C  Basic 12 bar blues for you to sharpen your skills as a pentatonic wizard.
